HSD is a Paris-based architecture studio founded in 2019.
We design and transform space, moving freely between scales, from architecture to objects.
We love working on clear plans, simple structures and good details - which, most of the time, is what our projects are about.
One thing matters above all: free space. Adaptability is durability. Freedom of space is freedom of action.
HSD is led by Marcello Tavone - Taurus, with Taurus rising.
Registered architect in France and Italy, trained at TU Delft and IUAV in Venice. Before HSD, more than a decade working with leading architectural firms: different scales, different programs, different kinds of clients. He lives and works between Paris and Vicenza.
Marcello’s essays were published by the French magazine Architecture d’Aujourd’hui, Footprint (the T.U. Delft journal of architectural theory) and by the Editions du Pavillon de l’Arsenal. Marcello serves as guest critic at the École Speciale d’Architecture in Paris and at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture in Versailles.
